When developing a restoration plan, we evaluate the state of the river or stream by specific characteristics. One stream or river may have an effective implementation; however it would be inappropriate to use the same plan in all instances. While evaluating the streams we recognize existing problems that need to be rectified. Existing problems such as development, erosion or overgrazing, can be corrected to create the natural potential of the stream structurally, hydraulically and biologically.
